When design work pays for itself
Design and consulting means settling the hard parts on paper: which openings are controlled and what door hardware they need, where pathways and conduit run, how much power and network the system will draw, where cameras go and how long recordings are kept, and how the separate systems in a building are expected to interact. Written down early, these are ordinary decisions. Discovered during installation, they become change orders.

Repair and remediation
The repair side deals with systems already in place. Buildings get sold, contractors move on, and what remains is often undocumented: abandoned cable, mismatched generations of equipment, panels nobody has opened in years, and a head-end running software that no longer receives updates.
KSEDCO can assess an existing installation and report what has genuinely failed, what is misconfigured, and what is at end of life and worth replacing rather than repairing. Georgia conditions that show up in the work
Humidity is the constant. It reaches terminations in unconditioned space, exterior enclosures and anything mounted on a dock or in a yard, and it is why a lot of sudden failures are actually slow ones. Summer storms are the other: outages and surges that take down head-end equipment and network gear, which is the argument for putting protected power and surge suppression into the design instead of into the repair that follows.
